Alessandra Perez-Rubio and Louisa Rechter had a problem. They knew that Shopify was the platform that they wanted to use for their on-line presence. However, they understood what they were going to need help to see their vision materialize.
On December, 2016 Louisa first reached out to us to help them implement an Amazon checkout, and include Messaging on their site. They had tried to install it themselves only to be met with frustration and questions as to why it didn’t work. We completed those tasks in short order, and were asked about doing more work for them.
Alessandra (Co-founder and Creative Director) contacted us about more custom work on their site. She e-mailed us some layout concepts, which gave us a good idea of her vision. We then talked about more UI/UX improvements that we could make (after reviewing her layouts) to help with website. Once again, we received the “green light” and we were off to improve on their site.
Since our initial changes, they continue to use us for all their Shopify needs, and have created a strong relationship. From new a LookBook page, to a completely customized Blog and About Us page, we are continually working together to improving the site for their customers. In all of our dealings with Mestiza, we are continually amazed by these two wonderful ladies, and believe the business they are building together is nothing short of amazing. We are honored to be apart of their journey forward, and plan on supporting them every step of the way.
Along with being on-line, Mestiza New York is now available at Moda Operandi, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Revolve along with other prestigious retailers across the country and internationally. Their collection has also been spotted on the red carpet on chic fans including Chrissy Teigen, Ashley Graham, Madelaine Petsch, Maria Menounos, Iskra Lawrence, America Ferrera, Molly Sims, and Kate Walsh.
